WEEKLY DISCUSSION - THE START OF PHASE 3!
We have made incredible progress over the last few weeks, and now we have reached the start of Phase 3, and the beginning of the end! We have 4 weeks left of the project and aim to spend the next few weeks making final refinements and flourishes, as well as focus on the promotional material and marketing for the game. Today, Kiera and I will start Week 9 with a weekly discussion to discuss progress over the Easter Holidays and next steps for this week.
WEEK 9 - TEAM DISCUSSION
Monday 25th April​
Purpose for Discussion:
Weekly discussion with Kiera regarding the Easter Holidays, progress check-up and talk through next steps for this week.

NOTES:

Discussed our progress over the Easter Holidays and checked over our work.​

Kiera discussed with WSA Media Stores regarding the projectors - they only have two different short throw projectors. Adam is looking to buy 3 more.

Looked over asset creation - gave feedback and adjusted Asset List table.

Discussed plans for documentary - talked through basic plan, should film this this week. (Potentially wednesday)

Promotional material - begin with stickers. (Bird and mountain, custommade, simplistic t-shirt design, motivational quotes).

Today, should begin with projector testing and measure dimensions of projection to give back to Adam. Panels to be made soon.

Should continue working according to schedule - today testing the setup, tomorrow begin promotional material.

Tomorrow, Kiera to implement assets into the program.

Should organise a meeting with the sound designer, Harry Williams for Friday.

EVALUATION & REFLECTION​
WHAT WENT WELL?
We summarised the last few weeks and looked through each others asset creation, although we had already seen the outcomes, it was good to talk in person and discuss these further. We are on track for asset creation and in the next few days, Kiera should have all of the assets integrated within the environment. We are confident with our position in the project as we were able to do a lot of work over the 4 weeks of Easter and now have time to focus on the details and make final refinements and flourishes. We discussed our next steps and agreed we should stick to plan, as well as focus on the setup of the space during the time we have free throughout the next few weeks. According to plan, today Kiera and I will work together to test the setup of the space with our newer game version and measure the dimensions of projection to progress with the construction of our space.

WHAT DIDN'T GO WELL?
Kiera got into contact with the WSA Media Stores to ask if they had other short throw projectors available, for our Arcade Events in June and July. Jess replied saying they only had two short throw projectors, both different brands therefore, with different specifications. Kiera discussed with Adam about this issue and hopefully we should have three new projectors on the way. However, as we plan to test the setup again today, we can measure one projection and evaluate whether or not we need another 2 or just 1 projector, to achieve the same effect.

CHANGES WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS WEEK/NEXT STEPS:
This week we should be working according to schedule, focusing on implementing our assets into the space and beginning with the creation of promotional material. On top of this, we should be making time for the setup of the space and prioritising this wherever we can. Whenever we have the time throughout the week, we should ensure that this is all going to plan.
