Progress update with course leader Adam Procter, discuss position in Project and plans for the week.​
WEEK 6 - TEAM DISCUSSION WITH ADAM

Purpose for Discussion:
Discussing next steps, progress updates/check-ups.

Explained briefly what we are working on at the moment. Plans to experiment with projectors and test the physical space.

ADAM - Use BitShort Studio Blog for development blogs

SetUp BitShort Studio Website and make an Itch.io and attach suitable links.

FitBits being ordered by Vanissa - to allow us to test and monitor heart rate of users.

MASS 5.1 Surround Sound System on its way.

Double skinned box - difficult to transport. Rethink idea for box. (Already doing this)

Get projectors and test with them ASAP - see what they can do, email Dave ASAP. (Have done this, planning to pick these up and test tomorrow).

How do we get projectors onto computer? - Media players etc.

Embedded webcams? - Talk to James.

List everything we need, sequence things and prioritise tasks - what we need for setup. Makes it easier to tackle problems to have better organisation.

Get a hold of projectors ASAP and test with these immediately. (Tomorrow)

Organise another meeting with James once we have more information regarding projectors and what we plan to use for the space.

EVALUATION & REFLECTION​
WHAT WENT WELL?
It's evident that this project is huge, and we must organise ourselves accordingly to be able to complete everything on time. Adam suggested listing out and sequencing our priorities to make things easier to manage. In terms of the setup for the space, there are a lot of moving parts which would be easier to approach if we did this step by step. Because of this, we should make a suitable plan for the setup before we proceed with anything else. As well as this, he was happy to hear that we have taken in upon ourselves to begin testing different equipment which we plan to do tomorrow and from here can make further decisions on the hardware we might need. Thankfully, we also have a surround sound system and fitbit on the way!

WHAT DIDN'T GO WELL?
Adam has been in contact with Andy Brooke (regarding construction of a space) and he has been informed that a 'double skinned box' will be difficult to transport. We discussed our limitations of the box idea and touched on the idea of a simple setup using individual walls/panels that we bring together instead. However, we agreed that this is something we will revisit in our list of 'priorities'. For now, we must focus on deciding on a suitable setup.

NEXT STEPS/CHANGES WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS WEEK:
Next steps for this week will be to begin testing the space and using different projectors to do so. I plan to document my findings and evaluate the effectiveness of different setups so we can make a quick decision based on which is most appropriate. I am hoping we have this decided on by the end of the week. As well as this, Adam encouraged us to set up an 'itch.io' for our game which I plan to do today to get this out the way and I must forward him the necessary links.
