WEEK 9 - DISCUSSION WITH ADAM!
To begin the week, Kiera is meeting with Adam to discuss our progress with the project and talk next steps. I cannot attend the meeting today so I am documenting Kieras notes and reflecting upon them myself.
WEEK 9 - DISCUSSION WITH ADAM
Monday 25th April​
Purpose for Discussion:
Progress check and project update.

NOTES:

Walls/panels - get him the dimensions and either we'll get what we wanted ordered or built over at fine art.

Projectors - Can source 3 new ones and buy them. (because we only have 2 and we're unsure whether or not these will be free or not).

Structure - happy with the structure of the space, thinks it will work better rather than a full box.

Website issue solved - Kiera to continue setting this up.

Can use James' webcam to do further testing and then get dimensions.

Surround Sound System - grabbing an amp from uni which'll sort the current problem with it.

Can make notches in the walls for webcams whenever/wherever.

Boards are best for the walls for that reason - from graphics.

Structure of the space is looking good. We need to measure the dimensions of the projection and get these to Adam ASAP to get boards cut.

EVALUATION & REFLECTION​
WHAT WENT WELL?
Adam is happy with our progress and believes our new setup idea will work better. We are on the right track and know what we need to find out in order to get all the moving parts working. Adam has also provided us with a solution for the short throw projectors by sourcing us 2-3 new projectors which we can definitely use for both Arcade Events. This guarantees our setup.

We are on track and making progress everyday!

CHANGES WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS WEEK/NEXT STEPS:
Our next steps are the same as outlined within our Team Discussion for this week. I am set to begin promotional material and get everything ordered and Kiera will be focusing on implementing assets into the space as well as finalising our Bitshort.Studio site.
