WEEK 10 -
TO DO: UPDATE ITCH

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Alongside finishing the documentary this week, I will be posting regularly on Instagram/Twitter and ensuring to keep our audience up to date with our project progress. As part of our marketing regime, I will be updating our itch.io site, by editing the theme and updating it with our new images/logo/screenshots. Completing this today will mean it'll be setup for the release of our game which should take place by the 26th May.

GOAL
Update our itch.io for our BitShort Studio page and 'Getaway' page. Update cover photos, links, banners, information etc.

UPDATED PAGES:

I've updated our itch site for both our main studio page and game page. I replaced our placeholder images with a cleaner logo design, and also created a mockup screenshot/concept art from the game to put in our games 'banner'. I really love the appearance of our game page, as it sets the tone of our game and provides potential users with a little bit of insight into gameplay. Our BitShort Studio main page has also been updated with a new colour scheme. Kiera and I agreed a khaki/navy/white theme would work best as we find these colours most relaxing and 'friendly' looking, which is how we'd like to present ourselves as a studio and a team.

In addition to this, anyone that visits our itch.io site has access to our development blog and Instagram account.
NEXT STEPS FOR MARKETING

I intend to consistently post on our Instagram and Twitter pages for as long as I need to, especially focusing on the 4 week period before our Degree Shows, as this will be an important time to begin to market the Arcades and gather as many guests as we can! For now, I plan to keep our audience updated with development progress and keep the interactivity as high as possible, similar to how I have been by taking advantage of interactive stories etc. My next task for this week is to finish editing the documentary which can then be added to our BitShort.Studio site which is currently being set-up by Kiera.
