Setting up itch.io

WEEK 6 -
TO DO: MARKETING - SET UP AN ITCH PAGE!​
PURPOSE FOR TASK
After discussion this morning, Adam reminded me that we needed to set up an itch.io page to market our game and make our game available for people to play through the site. To get this out the way, I plan to set this up straight away to avoid having to do things last minute, and as I am responsible for everything Marketing, I feel it is my job to get this done as I have all the necessary information to do so. This will be a great way to further promote our game idea and showcase what we have been working on!

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
I plan to create a basic setup for the site, including a description of gameplay with an image to tease the game, our logo and description of who we are as a team!

GOALS FOR THE DAY​
Create an itch.io site with our game/information attached. Forward links to course leader ASAP.

Set up main page for 'Bit Short Studio'.​

Taking note of our Branding Tool Kit, I used the suitable language, typeface and colour scheme that works best with our overall brand. Our itch.io is now successfully up and running and can be viewed by the public! I will make sure to update our Instagram and Twitter with these links too.​
NEXT STEPS​

I am happy I was able to quickly set up our itch page and have forwarded the links onto our course leader to attach to the main 'winchester.games' page. Next steps for me will be to continue updating both Instagram and Twitter, and continue with my weekly tasks scheduled in for Week 6. Tomorrow Kiera and I will begin testing the setup of projectors in a space, this will get me some great content to post on Instagram! (Tomorrow we must collect the projectors from Media Stores at 11am)
