WEEK 13 -

TO DO: PLAN FOR THE DEGREE SHOW

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

To finish off the project, I am going to be creating a plan for our next steps for the Degree Show. We have a handful of responsibilities to ensure our set-up is as expected at both events, so I will be making sure we have a plan in place to get this done after hand-in.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Organise the set-up for our physical space
Gather last donations via GoFundMe
Ensure we have all necessary equipment - test and pack for events
Set-up events!

PLAN FOR SUMMER

FOR SETUP:

Paint the finished walls - will need dust sheets, white paint, paint brushes etc.
Create holes for webcams and embed.
Test and adjust positioning
Surround Sound system? Source speakers or amp.

CREATE FOR EVENT:

Game Banner - specific dimensions, long banner to stand next to box.
Any other posters we want displayed
Write small description for game description sticker - like exhibition caption.
Bring stickers & t-shirts to event.

FUNDRAISE:

Collect last few donations for our Degree Shows - https://www.gofundme.com/f/gda-degree-show-2022-elevate
Use raised money to buy refreshments and nibbles

PACK FOR EVENT:

2x Walls
2x Projectors
2x Laptops and power
2x Microsoft Webcams
2x HDMI cables
2x HDMI - USBC Adapters
2x Stereo Speakers
Extension leads/cables

NEXT STEPS

We should use this plan to have everything organised accordingly after hand-in. For now, I will be finalising my Final Major Project and university experience, with one last reflection post :(
