Asset Distribution

EASTER WEEK 2 -
TO DO: DISTRIBUTE ASSETS BETWEEN US, MAKE PLANS FOR CREATION.​

PURPOSE FOR TODAY
The purpose of this is to ensure we are both working on asset creation in an efficient manner. We must plan who will be focusing on which elements of the game. As we are both 2D artists, we wanted to involve both of our visual creations within the game, so doing this allows us to both have input but also focus on different things. We will be making a brief plan for asset creation and using the documents I made in Week 5, I can update this accordingly. Knowing what we will both be focusing on, we will be able to begin asset creation and have this completed by our scheduled deadline, being the 13th April.​

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
Using the Art Bible and asset list, we will be distributing asset creation tasks between us and preparing ourselves ready for asset creation during the next few weeks.

Create a plan for asset creation and distribute tasks accordingly.

NOTES

Emilia to focus on the environment designs and finalise these, make around 3-4 different variations. Split the environment and include different elements in each scene.

Kiera to focus on the animation of the bird, depending on how long this takes can make other animations too.

Emilia to take responsibility for interactive snowflakes and snowfall too.

Depending on when we finish, can take on the 'ski lift' and 'clouds' creation - these are our last priority.

User Interface - small 'Begin' button and 'Pause' object - can decide between us after main bulk complete.

Should have the main bulk of asset creation complete by 13th April, or end of Easter if we struggle to keep up with this. Monday 25th April is our LATEST completion date.

SCHEDULE: COMPLETION OF ASSET CREATION
We have scheduled to begin Asset Creation today, 8th April and spend a week making assets consistently until the 13th April. We have allowed ourselves to be flexible and take a break too, so we have said the latest completion date for all asset creation should be Monday 25th April.

We have agreed to update each other regularly, and we MUST keep track of our progress using our 'Asset List' and 'Assets Final' Google Docs which I have linked below. For now, we can begin asset creation and keep each other in the loop with our progress. I will be testing throughout this week and providing feedback where necessary, ensuring we keep art style consistent between us.
